Our treasure hunts are fully planned and organised by a Treasure Hunt
Manager.
However we don’t charge huge fees for this service. The reason for this
is that all our events are based in York, therefore we don’t have the large
overheads of a national event organiser. However we do promise a high level
of service, quality and flexibility.
Price
All treasure hunts prices are individually quoted, however £10 per person is
the average charge, with a minimum charge of £100.
The price includes all of this:
- Well scripted clues, written by an experienced York tour guide
- Question packs for each team
- An experienced co-ordinator on hand throughout the event

Chocolate Hunt
A fabulous way to discover York’s rich Chocolate making
history. York is staging a Chocolate Festival in 2012 and a world class
attraction, The Sweet History of York will be opening in the Spring.
Teams compete to answer questions about York’s Chocolate manufacturers,
their brands and the locations that were important in their growth.
Prizes are Chocolate related.
Apprentice Hunt
A fun and stimulating way to test your business skills,
including negotiation, time management and planning.
This hunt is a mixture of answering questions, buying a series of household
items at the lowest possible price and designing a simple business strategy.
Develop important skills, while having fun on York’s magical Medieval Streets.
The Winning team or teams are the ones that achieve the best results,
compared with the set targets.
Yorkopoly Hunt
Based on the World’s best selling board game, your task is to walk around the
city centre, answering questions, buying properties and avoiding Jail.
Pure fun for everyone.
Forest Hunt This is our non urban hunt, which takes place in the Dalby Forest, a few miles
outside York. Negotiate Trees and wildlife to find clues and diversions.
Work out which are clues and which are diversions and try to crack the code.
Forfeits and penalties are all part of the game.
Appropriate Clothing is essential.
Beer and Ale Hunt With York’s lovely range of historic and haunted pubs, this hunt is a fantastic
way to explore them.
Answer Questions in different zones and take pictures to prove you have
been inside the pubs. This tour includes a stop for a pint or maybe 2
(maximum). However, the fun maybe obvious but it’s still a race to the end
and to find out which team has won.
